There are many different disciplines of yoga. Here at Luna Yoga, we specialise in the practise of Iyengar yoga, which focuses on alignment and breath control. Our studio was established in 2000 and has a team of passionate teachers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their classes.
We offer a number of courses that accommodate all levels of experience, with each level increasing in understanding as practitioners progresses. These levels include:
Introductory – If you’re not familiar with Iyengar Yoga, or if you haven’t practiced for some time, our introductory course is recommended. Our course for introductory yoga near Princes Hill covers all the basics of Iyengar Yoga to give you a solid foundation.
General – The next step after our introductory course, our general course further builds on the skills and postures you’ve learnt and delves into some more challenging postures.
Experienced – Our experienced course is designed for regular attendees of Luna Yoga, giving you the opportunity to practice a wider variety of postures.
